The Belimo FSNF230-S US is a spring-return (fail-safe) actuator designed for the operation of UL555 / UL555S listed fire and smoke dampers in HVAC ventilation and air-conditioning systems. It is typically mounted with the damper in the fail-safe position (commonly closed). When power is applied, the actuator drives the damper open while tensioning the internal spring. If power is interrupted, the spring returns the damper to its fail-safe safety position.

The “-S” model includes two auxiliary switches (2x SPDT) for end-position indication and interlock logic to the fire interface module or BMS.
