The Belimo BF24-S-ME is a spring-return actuator designed to operate fire and smoke dampers (90°) in HVAC ventilation and air-conditioning systems. It provides open/close control with a reliable fail-safe spring return, ensuring the damper returns to the defined safety position when power is interrupted.

During normal operation, the actuator drives the damper to the operating position while tensioning the spring. When the supply voltage is cut, the stored spring energy drives the damper back to the safety position. A manual override is available for positioning without power, and two integrated auxiliary switches (2x SPDT) support end-position indication for BMS/fire interface monitoring.
