The Belimo BF24-TN is a spring-return actuator for fire (and fire/smoke) dampers (90°) in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. It provides open/close actuation and automatically drives the damper to the safety position using spring energy when the supply voltage is interrupted.
This model is combined with a BAT thermoelectric tripping device (72°C). The BAT contains thermal fuses for duct outside temperature and duct inside temperature; when a fuse triggers, the supply voltage is interrupted permanently/irreversibly, and the actuator moves to the safety position. The BAT includes a test button and LED status indication.
